According to plan, Elle King and fiance Andrew Ferguson’s marriage has been set to take place this weekend. That didn’t happen.
King, the daughter of “SNL” alum Rob Schneider, met Ferguson at February 2016, and announced news of the participation shortly later via an Instagram pic shot in San Francisco.
“Fergie requested me to marry him on a sailboat under the Golden Gate Bridge,” she wrote. “I said yes.”
The appeared in an episode of TLC’s Say Yes to this Dress, which aired in March.
The “Exes and Ohs” singer even appeared in an episode of TLC’s “Say Yes to this Dress” to be able to discover the perfect wedding gown, and opened up regarding the couple’s whirlwind romance.
“We met at London at the lobby of my hotel, and it was just like we had known each other for ten years,” the singer explained. “We hung out all night, it was my very last evening in London, and he was like, ‘You can’t go home.’ And I didn’t get in my trip, and I remained in London. Two days after, he quit his job and then moved to America.”
She added: “He suggested 12 days after we met.”
King sparked rumours that she and her Scottish beau had split up when she posted an Instagram pic a few weeks ago of herself and 2 pals, captioning the shot, “All my single women.”
This was accompanied by an Instagram article in which a tearful King laments that it has “been a very rough and insane beginning to this year.”
Due to her newest Instagram articles, it seems the relationship is finished and the wedding is off, using King writing that she “jumped out for my marriage” and also spent Saturday night in an Eagles of Death Metal series in Seattle.
